All members of The Sunbed Association (TSA) undertake to comply with The Sunbed Code and must demonstrate compliance through inspection visits to their premises.

The Sunbed Code requires that the establishment will maintain all prescribed performance and safety levels.

Sunbed appliances must meet European Standards and be installed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and the guidance as set out in The Sunbed Code.

Staff must be trained in accordance with HSE Guidance Note (INDG209)

Information shall be given to customers in accordance with HSE Guidance Note (INDG209) and the guidance and instructions for use as detailed in The Sunbed Code.
